Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
We are looking for Olympic and Paralympic Games Ceremonies Manager
Reporting to the Head Of Ceremonies you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and
coordination of services within the Olympic and Paralympic Games Ceremonies
The Ceremonies Manager will be responsible for activities such as:
• Assist Head Of Ceremonies with daily Ceremonies activities, services and operations.
• Building relationship with all local representatives.
• Develop efficient reports and data analysis methods.
• Work closely with the back office team.
• Manage the FA budget and supervise contractors ones.
• Coordination of the CER Team and selection of the Temporary Crew;
• Strictly cooperate with the Mico2026 FAs representative to approach Local entities to solve
potential issues.
• Strictly cooperate with Operational Readiness FA to integrate operational planning
method/approach (including readiness) with External Delivery partners.
• Supervision of shows projects for each venue.
• Coordinates activities with the CER Production Company on event operations and organization,
communication and promotional aspects.
• Communicate and cooperate with each Functional Areas in order to guarantee services and
operations meet the needs of show set-up and rundown.
• Coordinate the general planning and implementation of facilities and services in all venues.
• Coordinate in the definition of furniture and technology needs for venues in liaison with the
Logistics and Technology Functional Areas.
• Coordinate in planning the Ceremonies overall legacy, with specific reference to future events to
be hosted in Italy.
Requirements
• Experience in major event management, including working with and coordinating suppliers.
• Experience in detailed budgeting, planning, implementation and delivery of operations at
international sport events, preferably in previous Olympics and Paralympics.
• Communication and marketing skills, media relation, social and digital media management
experience.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the services/activities that should be delivered by
External Partners.
• Ability to plan, manage, drive, monitor and report different cluster working tables with internal
FAs and local stakeholders representatives.
• Previous experience in relations with public/local authorities would be a plus.
• Positive attitude in negotiating with external partners, through the creation of an environment
that encourages cooperation.
• Fluent in communicating and writing both in Italian and English, knowledge of one or several
other Olympic and Paralympic movement official languages is an advantage.
• A general knowledge of the Olympic and Paralympic movements.
• Knowledge of international sports media landscape.
• Pro-active approach and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate resources in structured contexts.
• Ability to plan and define objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team work and positive attitude.Able to withstand stress during peak periods.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines.
• Ability to multitask and perform in fast-paced, multicultural environments.

• Polite and friendly.
• Available to travel daily for long period and during the Event for more than 2 weeks, also with
short notice.
• IT experienced, excellent knowledge of Office and Mac Suite
• Driving License.
