The Premier League is looking for a Multimedia Content Producer to join its editorial team and help pioneer innovations in the ideation and delivery of content to respond and cater to changing audience needs and behaviours.

In this role you will deliver high-impact, story-centric output across the Premier League’s digital channels, delivered in a coordinated and cohesive manner to maximise value to both the Premier League and its partners and stakeholders.

You will deliver high-impact, story-centric output across the Premier League’s digital channels, utilising multiple mediums including video, photography, graphics and text to deliver meaningful, resonant content in a fast and efficient manner. 

The right candidate will have strong experience working across multiple mediums including video, photography and graphics to deliver impactful, meaningful content in a fast-paced, always-on environment.

In this new role you will be required to help lead the delivery of premium multimedia content that helps broaden the Premier League’s impact and cut-through with fans across the world.

The ideal candidate will ensure the Premier League’s output is of the highest standard and meets fans on their terms, harnessing a network of contributors and experts to identify and bring to life storytelling across the league in an intelligent, responsible and expedite fashion.

This role will involve, but is not limited to, the following duties: 

  • To produce distinctive content on a variety of platforms
  • To lead, motivate and support a team in developing, pitching, researching, packaging, and delivering innovative and informative, cross-platform content ideas that engage and entertain current fans, future fans, and partners
  • Identifying new angles and methods to package natural talking points into entertaining, resonant content tailored to the platform and mediums it is delivered on, including harnessing club-produced content to drive value back to the wider ecosystem
  • Manage day-to-day digital media content production, including hands-on producing, scripting, editing, creating, production team management, and postproduction. Content is a mix of text, graphics, photos, motion graphics, animations, and video
  • Make analytics fundamental to workflows, helping to direct and harness insights to iterate and improve output on an always-on basis
  • Help develop, build and maintain a clear, scaleable network of collaborators and creators to help the Premier League achieve its ambitions while retaining editorial trust and at all times safeguarding the brand
  • On rotation, manage matchday content delivery across Premier League digital media channels
  • Perform QA on all content to ensure the Premier League's exacting standards are upheld 
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Media department to ensure opportunities to create world-class content are taken to improve the range of content published on our owned and operated channels
  •  Supporting the Communications and Public Policy departments to promote the good work the Premier League does in local communities, with partners and member Clubs, via multimedia content
  • Broaden the Premier League's focus on D&I, including a focus on content and audience strategies 
  •  Focus on the development and management of the team – supporting, coaching, and creating an open feedback culture
  • Support the Senior Content Manager to maintain SEO and accessibility best practice for the delivery of content via the website and mobile app
  • Possess good understanding of emerging industry trends and best practices that affect day-to-day publishing and content strategy, including how to optimize content per platform
  • Experience developing and executing high-impact content, including written, videos and photos, across digital media channels
  • Strong creative eye, including an eye for imagery and an appreciation of brand and creative
  • Multimedia content creation skills, including copywriting, copy editing, photo editing and basic video editing
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to schedule and prioritise multiple work streams effectively
  • Understanding of rights frameworks, copyright and their implications for creating multimedia content
  • A motivated, proactive and ambitious individual with exceptional communication skills
  • Collaborative and open-minded team player with the confidence to deal with senior internal and external figures
  • Keen sports fan with a solid knowledge of the Premier League’s structure and context in the industry
  • Ability to demonstrate creative vision and identify innovative solutions
  • Meticulous attention to detail

We support and provide a framework for youth development, we protect the organisation’s intellectual property, support the wider game and community programmes, undertake international development work and liaise with governing bodies and other leagues.
