Middlesex Football Association is offering an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the team as Operations Manager / Deputy CEO.

This pivotal role will contribute significantly to the development of Middlesex FA and its £5 million leisure facility, Rectory Park. The successful candidate will play a central part in delivering the organisation's four-year strategy, Realising Our Potential, joining at a key moment in year two of its implementation.

As Deputy to the CEO, the appointed individual will lead the existing Management Team and oversee the delivery of the strategy, ensuring meaningful impact within the community and among football participants. They will provide the day-to-day leadership and focus required to achieve strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and enthusiastic professional with a passion for football and a proven track record in strategic leadership within a small to medium-sized business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support delivery of The FA Grassroots Football Strategy and the Middlesex FA Business Strategy
  • Provide strategic direction to the Clubs & Facilities and Development & Workforce departments
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations and governance of Middlesex FA
  • Champion the strategic direction and culture of Middlesex FA and act as an ambassador for grassroots football
  • Oversee operational and financial performance of Rectory Park in line with the Business Plan
  • Lead and line-manage department leads to deliver strategic targets, including operational plans, quarterly programmes, and monthly reporting
  • Contribute to the implementation of The FA's Safeguarding Operating Standard for County FAs
  • Support the adoption of FA technology systems across grassroots football
  • Ensure compliance with FA rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
