Full Description

A Material coordinator will manage, control and monitor the purchase procurement of consumable supplies and special purchases necessary for manufacturing and distribution center operations.

Duties:

  • Oversee fulfillment center consumable supplies for the facility.
  • Manage policies that effectively meet customer demand, and financial commitments to coordinate the scheduling of production and materials.
  • Understand, comply with, and implement the policies of Quality, Safety, Health and Environment and those that apply to the Company. 
  • Interface with leadership, finance and supervisors on material status and production planning issues.
  • Manage inventory and develop strategies to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining established inventory levels to support business objectives. 
  • Monitor production capacities and inventory levels daily and communicate throughout the organization as required to ensure sufficient capacities and levels are available to manufacture scheduled product. 
  • Monitors the operational processes and procedures of materials. 
  • When applicable, generate ideas to increase the productive capacity of the working groups by initiating new ideas, processes & systems.
  • Ensure material receiving systems and processes verify quality and commercial specifications and agreements.
  • Maintain timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records.
  • Produce appropriate procurement reports showing inventory levels, shortages and work to continuously improve procurement metrics.
  • Schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. 
  • Hourly position 

Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 30lbs and work in warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Suites - specially Excel
  • 2 years of administrative experience 
  • Strong customer service skills
