GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work on Search Engine Optimization campaigns through effective keyword research
  • Use data mining & keyword research to plan and execute content-writing campaigns
  • Support site and collection launch campaigns with content creation and updates
  • Collaborate with other marketing and business teams to implement content strategies and develop long-form content (guides, blog posts, Q&A pages, and more)
  • Support ongoing optimization of SEO campaigns. Reviewing search visibility, and finding gaps and opportunities.
  • Manage content and SEO requests from internal teams and provide timely updates.
  • Work with internal partners to understand marketing goals and align SEO initiatives to meet those goals.
  • Analyze and effectively communicate the performance of SEO initiatives to internal stakeholders through verbal/written communication and ongoing reporting deliverables.
  • Closely monitor the marketing calendar and prepare Natural Search campaigns in advance.
  • Research and analyze industry changes/developments in search engine marketing with a focus on content development.
  • Recommend SEO performance improvements.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree in a Marketing or English field preferred, High School Diploma or GED required.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong grasp of English language and punctuation. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Experience with SEO tools is helpful but not essential (especially keyword research tools)
  • Demonstrated strength in analyzing data to generate insights and execute accordingly
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel required
  • Strong commitment to learning SEO practices and applications, and staying up to date in the field
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple deadlines, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web technologies is helpful.
  • Analytical thinker who also thinks creatively and outside the box, brings outside-in thinking to every project, and always figures out a way to get things done
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
  • Experience with web analytics technology such as Omniture/Adobe Marketing Cloud, Google Search Console, or Google Analytics is a plus
  • Experience in inbound linking/strategic linking is a plus
  • Analytical skills are required to evaluate data and translate that to the current SEO algorithm and recommend actions.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 per year, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
