WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As the Manager Tax Technology and Digital Tax Reporting will be responsible for leading a group of engineers for supporting Tax business stakeholders and carrying out future state technology solutions delivery. You will be a strong technology leader with extensive experience working in an agile environment, whose focus will be to build, deliver, and support the right solution to customers with the highest quality and shortest delivery time.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will work directly with business users to understand business needs and help drive overall design, partner with Business Capability Process Experts to assist in evaluation of Solution Options, and ensure Solution Design achieves intended business needs, and will be communication with various stakeholders.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Lead product and engineering teams supporting Nike’s Tax footprint
  • Provide Domain Expertise for Future State Technical Solution Design for Nike Treasury capabilities, partner with SAP and other Technology Partners,
  • Provide Domain Expertise for Enabling Data and Technical Requirements for Technical Design and Data Definition Specifications
  • Partner and participate in Future State Business Process Design work
  • Understand and align to Technical Strategy and Governance
  • Lead Quality Management (QM) testing support to all configuration changes and custom improvements
  • Align to Nike Technical Standards
  • Plan and Deliver with the team during the PI on the backlog of work for each iteration delivering value in 2-week Agile Sprints

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability in Digital applications, processes, and master data.
  • 3 to 4 years’ experience leading teams in a highly collaborative environment
  • 10+ years’ experience in technology & software engineering roles
  • Significant experience in software engineering, demonstrable knowledge of the set of roles, skills, activities, practices, tools, and deliverables applied at every phase of the software lifecycle
  • Experience with cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, CI/CD and related tools.
  • Experience with AWS platform including Lambda, Step Functions, Elasticsearch, S3
  • Experience with implementing and integrating AI, Machine Learning and related data solutions preferred.
  • Prior experience in implementing, integrating, and/or maintaining large-scale ERP application suites in the Retail/Fashion/Footwear industries preferably SAP S4.
  • Experience with direct-to-consumer platforms and its integration with Tax Engines like ONESOURCE is desired
  • Strong understanding of architectural design patterns and computer-science fundamentals
  • Must be able to articulate and/or have experience with integration patterns, data movement and enrichment capabilities.
  • Proven experience collaborating on latest technologies with Engineers and Architects.
  • Extensive background in working with business partners
  • Proven track record of being results oriented with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals.
  • Proven communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology.
  • Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others
  • Ability to work with onshore/offshore teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively connect with both business and technical IT teams
