WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll lead a team of talented software engineers focused on delivering scalable, high-impact solutions across Nike’s product and consumer platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, architects, data scientists, and cross-functional engineering teams across the globe. You’ll also partner with leaders in CP&I to align engineering efforts with Nike’s strategic goals, while mentoring and growing the next generation of engineering talent.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking a seasoned engineering leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You bring:

  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with deep expertise in modern backend and/or frontend technologies

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Will accept any combination of education, experience and training.

  • 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams, with a strong track record of mentorship, team development, hiring and software delivery

  • Expertise in at least one or more cloud platforms like AWS and in at least one or more software programming languages such as Typescript, Python, React and Node

  • Proven track record of successful software execution and delivery

  • Positivity, growth mindset and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, high-performing team culture

  • A passion for clean architecture, scalable systems, and continuous improvements

  • Experience working in agile environments and driving engineering best practices

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As a Software Engineering Manager in CP&I, you will:

  • Lead and grow a team of engineers responsible for building and maintaining critical services and platforms.

  • Drive technical excellence and operational rigor across the software development lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with product and design teams to define and deliver innovative solutions that meet business and user needs.

  • Champion engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and performance optimization.

  • Foster a culture of learning, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
