Full Description

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

The general purpose of Sales Insights and Analytics is to be a data-driven consultant to the Central Senior Management and Sales Teams by providing insights & recommendations to enable and drive fact-based decisions. The Business Analytics Functions support and steer the business to achieve sales targets as well as the strategy by creating a holistic reporting landscape and analysing relevant KPIs. This team acts as a partner function to provide support, guidance and clarity to all sales teams, as well as General Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing 360° analytical support toward key accounts and stakeholders
  • Leading external and internal trade meetings to exchange on key insights and deliverables
  • Ensure data-readiness on a weekly basis by liaising with accounts, receiving their sell-out data, ensuring data-integrity and monitor internal reporting systems.
  • Improve data-quality and data-sharing guidelines with accounts by implementing and monitoring systems such as EDI, FTP, Microstrategy, SPS
  • Supporting internal stakeholders thru out key sell-in milestones
  • Delivering weekly sell-out summaries to keep stakeholders aligned on account performance
  • Collaborate with broader SIA team to exchange on best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to maximize the impact of the provided Insights.
  • Support in cross functional projects, e.g., Forecasting, Budget, Trade Terms, IBP

Knowledge, Skill Set and Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of numbers and excellent analytical skills
  • Comfort with Sales/Product Data and very good understanding of sales KPIs
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with BI Tools – knowledge of Power BI is advantageous.
  • Data driven mindset and attention to detail.
  • Strong Problem-solving abilities.
  • Good understanding of operational processes
  • Open-minded, with excellent interpersonal skills and
  • Team-Player
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English, Polish both written and spoken. Czech,German is advantageous

Requisite Education and Experience/Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting or Business administration (bachelor/master)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail analytics, sales, marketing or finance/controlling
  • Experience/interests: sports, sales, marketing in the clothing/fashion/footwear or FMCG industry.
