Job Description
A knack to capture the pulse of the message and translate it into crisp content that drives the key message across seamlessly – that's what we expect from our Internal Communications partner. You get brownie points if you can guide our designers in helping build a visual impact.
Our Internal Communications partner must also have their ears to the ground, picking up relevant pieces of communications and curating messages that have the right context, making recommendations to teams with communication requests on the right channels to use.
What you'll do:
Content writing:
Crisp, relevant, snazzy content that is customized for a specific target audience via the most effective channel.
Channel Management:
Recommend the most effective channel for a communication request basis the call-to-action needed. Once finalized, utilize these channels to drive campaigns and monitor the effectiveness through key metrics.
Employee Engagement:
Create a strategy for employee engagement and follow an editorial calendar to accomplish great employee engagement, adapting a technology flavour. Maintain and analyse the metrics to measure the engagement levels and effectiveness.
Events
Have a strategic plan for team-building activities, town halls, org-wide conferences including, but not limited to communications, templates, ice-breaker sessions etc.
Stakeholder Management
Liaisonwith stakeholder across various business verticals to understand their requirements, work on agreed upon timelines and ensure seamless delivery. Maintain a tracker for all the work done and create a repository of all collaterals created.
The qualities we are looking for:
People skills
Good people management skills to ensure that the communication between stakeholders, leaders and the communications team is smooth and information is collected and delivered efficiently.
Time management
The ability to understand requirements and work backwards to create timelines and be able to stick to them. Deliver output in a timely manner.
Operational Excellence
Our communication partner should be able to chalk up processes and adhere to them so that there is no ambiguity in terms of deliverables and timelines.
Quality
Ensure that any content that is being released is correct, authentic, grammatically sound and visually impeccable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications or equivalent practical experience.
- 7-10 years of experience developing and executing global communication and event strategies.
- 5+ years program managing processes and initiatives with cross-functional teams.
