Full Description

Purpose:

Corporate Communication helps adidas create distinctive and appealing images with its stakeholder groups, build a strong, trusted corporate brand ("the company behind the brands") and develop reputational capital. The Corporate Communication Team enhances the company's reputation and positively impacts its employees' engagement by developing key messages, impactful storylines, key employee engagement activities and communicating them to internal and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Internal Communications Strategy: Develop and execute internal communication strategies across Cluster Central Europe, focusing on zone East.
  • Communication Plans: inline with the Senior Internal Communications Manager, develop strong communication plans for key business topics such as the Employee Listening Survey, DE&I, and significant change projects.
  • Consistency in Communication: Ensure consistency of communications activities across all parts of the Cluster, with a focus on zone East.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders within zone East to ensure smooth communication flow.
  • Leadership Visibility: Facilitate leadership visibility through coordinating events and communication efforts in zone East.
  • Employee Engagement: Assist in executing initiatives that promote employee engagement and culture.
  • Feedback Analysis: Gather and analyze employee feedback to provide insights for senior managers.
  • Internal Moments: Deliver key internal moments like all employee meetings.
  • Content Management: Create and manage content for internal communication channels, ensuring it is up-to-date, relevant, and engaging.
  • Brand Activation: Help bring our brand to life for employees, working closely with Brand teams.
  • On-the-Ground Support: Provide support for activations and events in zone East to ensure high engagement and participation.
  • European and Global Projects: As a key member of the Europe IC team, execute European and Global IC projects locally.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • University degree in business studies / marketing / communication
  • 4 – 5 years of working experience in a Corporate / Internal Communication department or digital social media agency
  • Preferably at least 3 years of working experience in partnering closely with leaders and developing leadership communication
  • Experience in working with or within HR or interest in community organizing, public policy, and diversity, equity and inclusion is a plus
  • Thorough understanding of the complexity, interactions, and dynamics within an international company
  • Comprehensive understanding of communication and business acumen
  • Excellent communication expertise and English fluency, both written and verbal (quality, consistency, and accuracy)
  • Excellent project & event management skills and coordinating content for activities/events
  • Strong experience in managing physical and virtual production, including live interactive broadcast events, preferable on MS Teams
  • Excellent storytelling and creative visual skills, including video production and slide design
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop, and skilled in video or moving content creation and editing (Adobe Premiere Elements)
  • Have a good understanding of data analytics for website and social platforms
  • Ability to think and act strategically and support developing operational plans
  • Strong communication skills to negotiate with internal and/or external partners with possible divergent interests and with different business areas
  • Effective team player who can work collaboratively across all functions and disciplines
  • Meticulous with excellent attention to details
  • Solution-oriented and can-do attitude
  • Mindful and eager to learn
  • Passion for sport and communication
