Job Description

The Manager, Experience with a focus on Growth & Development is an integral position on Wasserman's Experiential team. Successful candidates will have the responsibility of being a key collaborator in the development of new business proposals. The Senior Manager, Experience will ensure new business proposals are grounded in research and insights, developed with both creativity and pragmatism, grounded in operational feasibility, and ultimately meet the high quality expected by Wasserman and its prospective clients.

General:

  • Own various components of a new business response and support the day-to-day operations of the integrated Wasserman new business team
  • Gather research and form insights to inform the creative development of new business responses
  • Develop status sheets, project milestone documents and enforce deliverable dates essential to each new business response's success
  • Proactively gather industry best-practices and trends to inform new and innovative solutions
  • Support the strategic development of activation concepts that deliver on client briefs, demonstrating critical thinking and creative solution
  • Own specific workflows within the RFP response, while also having the ability to manage all aspects and overarching storyline of an experiential proposal
  • Work in a collaborative manner with all Wasserman divisions to ensure flawless project delivery against the prospective client's objectives and agreed upon budget
  • Demonstrate proactivity and resourcefulness in understanding the landscape for each new client's business/sector
  • Create a positive, collaborative, team-oriented environment that aligns with Wasserman company culture and values
  • Troubleshoot and embrace creative problem solving throughout response development
  • Follow and proactively develop all project and new business processes and procedures to uphold quality standards and consistency across the division and business overall
  • Ensure consistent positive working relationships between departments and other Wasserman Experience team members

Skills/Qualifications Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • 3 – 5 years relevant experience in Experiential (the ideal candidate will have experience leading or collaborating on a new business proposal)
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, work on multiple projects simultaneously and achieve deadlines
  • Possess exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Full working capabilities in Keynote and Microsoft PowerPoint. Design skills are not mandatory, but a valued asset.
  • Maintain an open-minded mentality, allowing thorough exploration of all ideas and thought-starters
  • Must be comfortable working as an integral part of a team environment
  • Highly motivated and approaches each task with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to put out small "fires", with an understanding of when to escalate
  • Focused and strong-minded with an ambition to help grow the company
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload while coordinating with others to proactively meet deadlines
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a ‘can-do' attitude at all times
  • Ability to identify trends and creative inspiration to position the company as a thought leader
  • Ability to operate ‘in the gray' – figuring out process, structure and solutions that aren't always exactly defined
  • Project management and key stakeholder management

Base salary range: $60-80k plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role.
