Job Description

Our brands and properties division works with iconic brands and rightsholders, supporting business growth through all marketing disciplines. We're a trusted partner to every major league, team, and venue, building meaningful connections between brands, properties, and fans.

Wasserman is looking for a motivated individual to join a Brands Retainer Client team for a key technology client. This position is responsible for managing various aspects of the client's partnership portfolio and will support account team members with partnership management, project coordination, client measurement/reporting, presentations, and the implementation of timelines and budgets. The successful candidate will respond to client requests and is expected to consistently provide excellent client service, as well as represent client needs and goals to ensure partnership objectives are met.

This role will be based in New York Candidates must be willing to relocate if they are not currently based in the selected office location.

Duties:

  • Leads day-to-day management of select partnerships under the supervision of managers and other team members – managing the delivery of contracted assets, executing key client activation, and fielding incoming requests.
  • Oversees the fulfilment of contractual partnership assets – including creative briefing, trafficking, and creative approvals as required for key client activations.
  • Supports the development, planning, and implementation of partnership strategies that deliver on client objectives by performing research and analysis and recapping marketing initiatives.
  • Works collaboratively with team members to develop and execute deck creation and report materials.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on all partnership creative guidelines and other activation guardrails to ensure efficient execution of all partnership marketing activities.
  • Monitors media, trends and changing sports & entertainment landscape to keep client executives and other team members are up to date on the industry.
  • Performs various tasks as needed by internal team members such as research, reports, daily updates, scheduling calls/meetings, notetaking, editing of materials, etc.
  • May take on specialized roles or projects to assist the team such as working directly with third party vendors or partner agencies to execute client activations/programs.
  • Maintains positive relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
  • Where applicable, handles event logistics planning, implementation, and execution.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry with a working knowledge of what is happening across culture today
  • 6+ years relevant experience with minimum 4 years of direct experience in account and project management (preferably in the sports or entertainment field).
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to multi-task and self-manage to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
  • Must be flexible and comfortable to assume multiple roles as needed by the team.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
  • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Ability to think creatively in a team environment.
  • Must be flexible and react calmly under stressful circumstances.
  • Comfortable with extended days/nights, especially during periods of partnership activation.

Base salary range: $51k - $70k, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.

Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
