Job Overview:
Wasserman Marketing is looking for a motivated individual to join the Brands Retainer Client team in Chicago, IL. This position is responsible for leading, developing and managing a variety of current and prospective business relationships, sponsorships, and other partnerships in order to ensure client satisfaction. This position is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supports in the day-to-day management of the integrated partnerships vertical for a portfolio of brands, under the supervision of the Associate Director and other team members.
  • Leads integrated partnership efforts, inclusive of new and existing talent and property partners, with a steadfast commitment to exceptional deliverables, including project-based work and/or retainer-based work as applicable.
  • Lead and facilitate strategic brainstorming sessions to develop innovative activation campaigns that drive measurable impact
  • Perform research and analysis of various demographics and statistics to help inform strategies and initiatives.
  • Translate data into actionable insights and present those findings across the organization to a variety of audiences.
  • Manage the full creative approval process for brand sponsorship programs, ensuring all partner assets adhere to brand standards while maintaining talent’s integrity and image.
  • Monitor media, trends and changing sports, entertainment and cultural landscape to keep company executives and team members aware while maintaining Wasserman’s position as the most knowledgeable in the industry.
  • Develop a mastery of core services including partnership, audience, and go-to-market-strategy focused on creators and talent within sports and entertainment industries. Mastery includes being familiar with necessary tools, ability to execute project from end-to-end, explain methodology, and improve current capabilities.
  • Perform various tasks as needed by internal team members such as research, reports, daily updates, editing of materials, etc.
  • Build a strong working relationship with clients to ensure they receive appropriate attention, support, and project objectives are met.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of client products and services to deliver compelling presentations and partnership proposals.
  • Learn and manage client-facing project management systems and legal processes for the purposes of supporting the creation and approval of different project documents.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience with minimum 2 years of direct experience in account and project management (preferably at a creative agency, with an emphasis on sports and entertainment talent partnerships).
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills, both orally and in writing, can adapt to various situations and personalities and is capable of executing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to multi-task and self-manage to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
  • Motivated, goal-oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Ability to think creatively in a team environment.
  • Must be flexible and react calmly under stressful circumstances.
  • Ability to travel for partner programs or activations as required.
