We are a diverse, inclusive, innovative and passionate team. This role will work closely to drive the marketing plan and support for Nike Value Stores (NVS) Marketing. The role forms a part of the Retail Marketing team and reports directly to the Retail Marketing Director for Nike Pacific. This role will also have some key deliverables for the Nike Stores Partner stores and will work closely with the Nike Stores Partner (NSP) lead. In this role you will work closely with x-functional teams including Brand Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Marketplace, Retail & Product Merchandising. The shape of your day-to-day work will vary, across a number of projects and different stakeholders.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is a retail marketing expert to lead our Nike Value store marketing offense into the future and connected to our local Pacific consumer.

This role collaborates with marketing, business and product teams to create premium consumer journeys and experiences across our value channel (outlets) by leading seasonal retail marketing strategies. The role will interact with many x-functional team members, including agencies and vendors, so you will need to possess the ability to develop strong working relationships and management. You will need to successfully navigate many different work streams across both our inline and value channels, driving the development and execution of marketing plans.

  • Have a bachelor's degree in marketing or a business-related field preferred or 5+ year's marketing experience in Brand Marketing, Retail Marketing or like roles (ie. Visual Merchandising).
  • Strategic planning and marketing acumen and a multi-tasking and information seeing attitude.
  • Retail experience and an understanding of the consumer journey.
  • Familiar with multi-tasking, project management and 3rd party management and able to find solutions in an ambiguous situation and lead projects with various stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

As the Pacific Nike Value Stores Marketing lead, you will be responsible for driving, influencing and leading seasonal and long-term marketing plans end to end for this channel, to support brand and business success.

  • You will manage a seasonal concept map for all NVS campaigns & activity within a yearly provided budget.
  • Create the seasonal retail marketing direction to store teams to deliver seasonal brand marketing executions effectively.
  • Be a key contributor to the NVS Marketplace team helping drive marketplace growth and goals seasonally across the financial year.
  • Drive consumer communications for key marketplace moments, partnering with the digital team to ensure integration across our channels and traffic driving into our retail stores.
  • Work closely with the Visual Merchandising team to support seasonal visual merchandising guidelines, at times leading the work if necessary.
  • At times, you will lead marketing plans and support for new store openings/refurbishments, working closely with the retail and store teams.
  • Handle key responsibilities for the Nike Stores Partnered (NSP) team, working closely with the Lead, NSP stores marketing manager, to understand these work streams.
