Purpose of Role
Global Tax
Under Armour is looking for a Lead, Global Tax. This person will be responsible for the US international tax compliance process, GILTI and foreign tax credit modeling.
Payroll Tax & Reporting
The Payroll Tax & Reporting Specialist is responsible for compiling and remitting federal, state, and international tax obligations that are not managed by our payroll tax vendor(s) . This role will also manage the audits and validation of the accuracy of our vendors' filings. This role will demonstrate an expert knowledge of payroll tax and compliance.
Your Impact
Payroll Tax & Reporting
- Manage teammate jurisdiction setup in payroll system and verify appropriate forms are completed
- File and remit payment and reporting requirements to local tax agencies not managed by vendor.
- EMEA: PAWW, Social Taxes, Relief Programs
- APAC: Social Taxes, Federal Employer taxes, Teammate Withholding Taxes
- LATAM: State Taxes, Social Taxes, Statutory Reimbursement Payments
- NA: RRSP, T2200, Revele 1 Forms, Local taxes
- Audit vendor tax payments and filings for accuracy
- Support processing Quarter-End, Year-End, and Annual tax year reports
- Monitors tax changes and compliance ordinances to stay relevant
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience or typically 12 years of relevant work experience with no degree
- Ability to effectively manage and meet multiple critical deadlines
- Knowledge of general accounting practices (journal entries, general ledger reporting, etc)
- Significant experience in Excel, including advanced features (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Understanding of Equity and Stock related transactions
- Knowledge of In-Patriate and Ex-Patriate payroll and tax scenarios
Global Tax
- Bachelor's degree with typically 8 years of experience in Accounting OR master's degree with typically 6 years of accounting experience
- CPA preferred
- Significant experience with interpreting and applying US international and foreign income tax laws and regulations; specifically, US international tax Subpart F (including GILITI) and foreign tax credits
- Proficiency in research of US international and foreign tax laws, rules and regulations and application to specific scenarios required
- Proficient knowledge of ASC 740 income tax accounting required

- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.

Base Compensation
$99,444.00 - $136,735.50 USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
