WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As the product owner, you will lead the creation and development of key products for our internal management information system. You will provide vision and solutions that meet the business requirements to continually develop and progress the internal and external client facing system.

This role will see you overseeing the team of developers ensuring the existing and new development projects and support requests are scheduled correctly, running to time and to scope. Responsibilities will include :

• Taking ownership and accountability for multiple product projects

• Implementing key Agile frameworks and methodologies and critical paths for developments

• Communicating with development teams to share product vision and priorities

• Developing an agreed set of priorities and backlog in line with business priorities

• Implementing and monitoring delivery timelines across departments and individual product developments

• Assessing competitor's offerings and or opportunities and pinpointing areas for differentiation and growth within the system

• Regularly communicating progress on projects and deliverables to internal clients and teams

• Working as part of the established system development team.

• Working with end-users to deliver updates and status reports

• Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process

• Overseeing all stages of product creation, including design and development

• Develop and run SCRUM meeting processes.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED

• 3+ years of experience in a product owner role or similar within an agile setting

• Advanced understanding of digital and IT product management and development

• In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology

• Proven experience overseeing all stages of the product development lifecycle

• Capable of leading and motivating others whilst working cross-functionally

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

• You will be an out-going, organised, capable, friendly and helpful, a confident self-starter.

• You will take pride in your work, remaining focused, calm and motivated

• Ability to multi-task and work as a team.
