What you’ll do
The Investor Relations planning associate/program co-ordinator will play a critical part in the execution of Flutter’s IR strategy through coordinating and project managing the processes, initiatives, and communications that support the Flutter investor relations (IR) function. This will include responsibility for the effective management of the IR events calendar, cross functional alignment on all external reporting materials as well as project management of ad hoc IR events and communications.
This is a varied and high-profile role requiring strong communication and organizational skills. The candidate will be required to coordinate activities at the highest level of seniority within the organization and should have a proven track record of working in fast paced environments while using personal initiative to deliver evolving and complex objectives. A background in IR corporate access or client services would be a distinct advantage.
How you’ll do it
- Planning, coordinating, and organizing the annual IR program
- Project management of all IR projects such as investor days and co-ordinating IR input into broader Flutter Group projects such as ESG reporting and website upgrades as required
- Ensuring cross-functional alignment with key internal stakeholders including media, internal communications, Company secretariat, Legal and Finance teams, on all reporting, market announcements, other communications (website updates, press releases), events and other Flutter Group projects
- Managing the day-to-day investor engagement program including all inbound investor queries for access to IR and Flutter management. This will include assisting in the shareholder targeting effort to broaden the Group’s investor base by tracking interactions and investor feedback, as well as developing the team’s CRM capabilities to improve investor outreach and engagement programs
- Maintaining the IR relationship with IR support platforms including webcasting providers, call operators, website providers, NYSE, S&P, advisors, printers, creative agencies etc
- Maintaining the IR calendar, ensuring all key milestones (earnings dates, filings, investor conferences, events etc) are properly scheduled for the IR team, Group CEO and CFO, and other divisional management as applicable
- Managing IR events from coordination of content to logistics, including but not limited to, publication of corporate releases and presentations; and leading on webcasting, call and IT support
- Managing the internal IR reporting process of recurring IR internal deliverables such as board updates and other internal communications
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 years’ experience in IR, fund administration, client services, or banking corporate access preferred
- Knowledge/ experience of corporate communications and investor relations
- Understanding of quarterly and annual reporting cycles and ability to analyze data
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines while maintaining excellent quality standards
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple job functions
- The successful candidate should be a self-starter with a track record of delivering/developing new approaches in previous roles. The candidate will be required to engage with senior leaders within the business as well as externally, and influence outcomes in high pressured situations
- Ability to form strong relationships with peers, senior management and external audiences
