We are looking for motivated students to bring fresh ideas and energy to Nike’s European Headquarters, where they'll have the opportunity to contribute to one of our three iconic brands; Nike, Jordan and Converse.   • A background in Business Administration, Retail Management, Business Intelligence, E-Commerce, Digital Business, Computer Science or a related field is a plus  

  • Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Strong research, technical and analytical skills, and excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office programs 

  • Strong project management skills and ability to bridge between business and technology 

  • Proactive, energetic attitude with passion for e-commerce, retail, sport and fashion 

  • Affinity with e-commerce platforms and applications and understanding of their business models 

  • Eagerness to be an active part of the team, and to take ownership 

  • Academic, volunteering, or previous internship experiences related to Retail, E-Commerce, Technology, Project Management or Business Development are a plus (please include in your CV) 

  • A passion for the Nike brand and an active interest in sports, fitness, or movement—whether through participating, watching, or simply staying active.

IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN INTERNSHIP, YOU MUST

  • Be a student for the whole duration of the internship (enrolled in a university/higher education institution) 

  • Be available for a 6-month fulltime (40h/weekly) internship starting February 1st, 2026

  • Be able to work in a hybrid model: 2 days from home, 3 days in the office at our Nike EHQ Campus, Colosseum 1, 1213 Hilversum (NL) 

  • You are currently enrolled in a full-time study program at a Dutch university (HBO or WO level), regardless of your nationality.

  • You hold EU/EEA citizenship and are enrolled in a university outside the Netherlands.

Please note: Due to legal and immigration requirements, we cannot offer internships to non-EU/EEA students who are not currently enrolled in a Dutch HBO or WO level, in the Netherlands.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As a Digital Commerce Intern, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of Nike’s digital product portfolio and delivering world-class digital experiences to our customers. Depending on the position, previousdigital commerce interns have worked on:

  • Identifying and analyzing the latest trends in digital retail and e-commerce to inform business decisions and drive innovation 

  • Using data and consumer insights to simplify the path-to-purchase journey and drive business growth 

  • Conducting market analysis and competitor research to inform strategic recommendations and drive business outcomes 

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Retail, to enable business growth and drive digital commerce initiatives 

  • Managing and delivering digital commerce projects and initiatives, focusing on sustainable, scalable and replicable technology solutions that drive consumer engagement and business results 

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE

  • Curated intern program designed to develop your business acumen, build your network and grow yourself.

  • Exposure to senior leadership, educational workshops and networking events. 

  • Social & sporting events with an intern cohort of approximately 50 students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. 

  • Fantastic campus with state-of-the-art sport & gym facilities, group classes & team events.
