Full Description

As our HR Manager (Southeast Asia & APAC Area Team) you will be responsible for proactively supporting all aspects of tactical HR support for managers and employees within the Southeast Asia (SEA) region and APAC Area Team. You will partner directly with functional business teams and be proactive in working with managers to maximise people performance. You will also understand the business beyond the HR function and influence the overall organisation to ensure superior operations and business outcomes. Please note this is a fixed-term contract position for approximately 13 months.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

  • Business Partner (Southeast Asia & APAC Area Team)

    Partner with General Managers/Country Managers across South East Asia & APAC Area Team to support across the HR Toolkit. You will advise functional departments on topics such as talent management, engagement and performance management. Provide insight and analysis on people related measures to guide and develop key people focus areas for the business. You will support and advise on the implementation of Global HR Tools and provide HR input for Business Planning processes.

  • Recruitment

    You will ensure a first-class recruitment and selection process experience for both candidates and hiring managers across SEA & APAC Area Teams. Partner with the hiring managers to ensure that accurate information is used for the recruitment process, thereby ensuring targeted and quality recruitment. You will conduct professional Performance/Strengths based interviews (utilise Case Studies, Candidate Testing & Reference Tests). You will analyse the success and improvement areas of the recruitments in your perimeter to develop targeted recruitment initiatives if needed.

  • Talent Management & Development

    You will collaborate with General Managers/Country Managers/Line Managers to identify training needs. Based on this analysis determine quality training and development solutions. You will support the implementation of global training initiatives and tools, e.g. People Management Program, Strengths Workshops across the region. Provide regional trainings aligned with the international offerings and advocate strength-based training and development philosophy.

  • Compensation and Benefits

    You will coach managers on the Red Bull Compensation philosophy and drive managerial empowerment through educated decisions. Pro-actively provide information and insights on market data to support talent attraction and retention and identifies solutions to issues that may occur. Help manage the annual salary and benefits review and administration process in conjunction with the Area HR Manager and ensure C&B practices comply with global guidelines and directives. You will manage all relevant benefits and rewards programs for SEA, including reviewing market trends and implementing new initiatives when required.

  • Employee Relations

    You will manage employment relations cases to provide a pragmatic solution for both the employee and business. Keep up to date with employment legislation and manage compliance within the relevant frameworks and ensure that HR polices are communicated in timely manner in line with local requirements.

  • HR Administration

    You will manage any additional HR Administrative tasks, including renewal of local insurance policies, annual gift registry reviews, accurate organisation of employee-related documents and other ad-hoc administrative tasks.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • 5+ years HR generalist experience, preferably across markets in Asia, ideally 2 years HRM exp
  • Systems knowledge including Microsoft and SAP (Success Factors or relevant HRIS system)
  • Experience in briefing and working with external partners for recruitment and development
  • Flexible & resilient in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
  • Ability to quickly build effective relationships, locally & across borders
  • Travel 0-10%
