Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are looking for Host City Mobility Specialist Relations & Communication.

The identified resource will be responsible for:

• Support in organizing periodic update meetings with each territorial workgroup.
• Support in organizing vertical in-depth meetings necessary based on the outcomes of the various workgroups (e.g., public transport enhancement/extension, traffic management, transport area design, etc.).
• Monitoring the activities that MICO26 and local authorities need to carry out and involving the relevant functional units within the Transport area and other functional areas of MICO26.
• in implementing the transport communication plan aimed at the local community (residents, businesses, workers, second-home owners, etc.).
• Support in implementing the transport communication plan aimed at spectators.
• Operational implementation of the Olympic Transport Plan during the Games.

Requirements

• Ability to interface with public and private entities in the transportation sector.
• Good experience in managing communication with citizens, businesses, and stakeholders.
• Good institutional communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various institutional and internal actors.
• At least one experience in the mobility and transport sector and its related technical terminology.
• At least one experience in the world of sporting events.
• Excellent relational skills and versatility, given the multitude and variety of stakeholders to interface with.
• Ability to work simultaneously on different project streams, even those that are very diverse from each other.
• Excellent skills in writing documents correctly in both Italian and English.
• Complete knowledge of the Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
