Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
The purpose of this role is to ensure the installation of the temporary set up for the areas which serve the Olympic Transport Plan by working alongside the general contractor in charge.
Crucial to the success of the Olympic Transport Plan, the transport hubs need to be temporarily equipped to serve different purposes: parking for Olympic stakeholders, parking and transport interchanges for spectators, depots for overnight shelter for car and bus fleets.
The role of the Transport Construction Coordinator will be to ensure the implementation of the projects foreseen for these areas in all Olympic territories, guaranteeing their readiness according to the timeline marked by the Olympic Transport Plan.
Main activities:
- Support in the identification of the general contractor, as part of the tender process
- Manage the contractual relationship with the general contractor
- Evaluate design and products selection provided by the general contractor
- Monitor design changes, also from a budget perspective
- Develop Health and Safety plans alongside with external consultants
- Monitor the time schedule of the works planned in each area
- Coordination of preliminary interventions to temporary installments, construction sites and post-disassembly restoration of temporary structures
Requirements
- Experience in managing contracts with construction companies
- Experience in managing construction sites and related safety plans and knowledge of the Italian regulation about safety within construction sites
- Excellent skills in the development of a metric calculations (BOQ)
- Excellent knowledge of product specifications used in the temporary construction industry
- Excellent ability to use the following design tools: AutoCAD, ArcGI
- Excellent knowledge of Italian and English
