Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are looking for Host City Mobility Coordinator Inter-Modality.

The resource invividuated will be in charge of:

• Definition of the necessary railway services for the stakeholders of the Games (services at stations, onboard, etc.) by interfacing with other functional units of the Transport area, particularly with the Client Services unit.
• Management of relations with railway operators for the planning and activation of the defined services.
• Definition of the operational procedures that stakeholders of the Games must follow to access railway services (e.g., booking methods, etc.).
• Support to the Construction and Signage Team of the Transport area in the design of flows and spaces at the stations.
• Definition of the operational plans for the stations and related staffing plans.
• Coordination of railway services and operational management of the stations during the period of the Games.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics or Management Engineering
• Previous experience in the mobility sector or in event logistics organization or travel agencies is preferred.
• Previous experience in operational management of a team of at least 5 people, including handling operational challenges (e.g., sudden schedule changes, quick decision-making, etc.).
• Ability to manage numerous relationships both with internal areas of the organization and, especially, with a variety of external stakeholders, considering the large number of actors involved in the railway system.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Excellent knowledge of both Italian and English.
