Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are looking for a highly motivated Buyer Coordinator to join our Procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supplier management, purchase order processing, negotiation, and coordination with multiple internal departments to ensure an efficient procurement process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage supplier master data and maintain up-to-date records.
• Create and process purchase orders (POs) from purchase requisitions (Rda) using Ivalua platform.
• Liaise with various company departments to identify purchasing needs and ensure timely procurement.
• Request quotations, negotiate prices, and monitor deliveries of goods and services.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, to ensure a smooth supply chain process.
• Archive and manage procurement documents and contracts.
• Prepare contractual documentation in coordination with the Legal department.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and prepare reports when necessary.

Requirements

• Fluent English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong flexibility, problem-solving skills, and ability to follow procedures.
• Solid experience in procurement and negotiation.
• Analytical skills to manage supplier, pricing, and procurement performance data.
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Time management and ability to set priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Stress management and ability to work under pressure.

Desirable:

• Experience with procurement software such as Ivalua.
