Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
Objective of the role is to coordinate Milano Cortina overall activities related to the liquidation of the organization and terminating the existence as a legal entity.
This purpose will be achieved through:
- A definition of an overarching cross functions dissolution plan, coordinating each FA plan
- To put in place actions that minimise risk of unexpected and unnecessary cost overruns as well as maximise both the income from the disposal of assets and collection of revenue post-Games
- Aim is to maintain OCOG reputation, fulfilling bid commitments.
- This could bring to unexpected negative impact to OCOG financial through a non correctly handled closure process
- Ensure that overall plan is agreed with FA
- Staff is allocated in the FAs
- Assets are correctly accounted
Activities:
- OCOG dissolution plan
- Post games financial report
- Rate card financial report
- Asset management policies and disposal strategy
- Post games workforce plan and employee exit policy
- Contract management strategy
Requirements
- Strong experience in management of complex cross functional programmes
- Planning and coordination; ability to develop detailed plan with timelines, resources and priority
- Stakeholders management
- Fluent in english
- Experience with previous relevant sport events
- Asset and contract management
