THE POSITION
These are your key tasks:
- Lead the assessment, business casing and financial modelling for new commercial partnerships and revenue initiatives
- Lead the ongoing refinement and implementation of new commercial partnerships models working closely with the Director Commercial Revenues and Head of Sales
- Manage and coordinate revenue tracking and reporting across the team including liaising with FIFA Finance and Corporate Strategy team
- Support the partnership sales team with market insights, pipeline development and management through CRM as well as appropriate data and argumentation for sales conversations
- Provide strategy and project management support to relevant Heads of Department and teams across Commercial Partnerships team including Sponsorship Sales, Partnership Management, Commercial Projects, and Partner Rights Delivery
- Coordinate and support Commercial Partnerships Director and team with budget planning and revenue forecasting
- Collaborate with Sales team and Partnership Management team to develop new and innovative partnership assets and rights
- Support Director with strategy development, annual department objective setting, and tracking of objectives and deliverables across the team
- Coordinate internal leadership reporting across Commercial Partnerships team
- Support certain renewal and sales negotiations and contracting processes
- Be the conduit for the Commercial Partnerships Team into the FIFA+ business including overseeing the development of any new commercial approaches for sales of FIFA+ inventory
- Collaborate with gaming and efootball team to develop new partnership assets and rights for commercialisation
- Liaise with tournament host markets and host city teams in relation to potential assets and categories for commercialisation opportunities
- Act as the Commercial Revenues lead on scoping of certain new business projects and commercial models
- Strategic identification of new commercial opportunities, growth & process improvements
- Other planning, project management, business case and strategy functions as required by the business
- Lead and manage four direct reports in commercial planning and strategy team
- Dotted line management of the FIFA+ commercial sales team

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
- 8-12 years’ relevant experience in consulting, research and sponsorship sales environments including proven track record of results
- Extensive experience in working with sponsorship valuation models and tools
- Track record of developing and shaping sponsorship packages and rights models
- The ability to formulate business cases to support senior management decision making
- Budget management and reporting experience
- Master’s degree or similar higher education in business administration or sports marketing, focus research
- Strong knowledge and understanding of different research methodologies and applications
- Detailed understanding of media valuation models, football and the business of sport, entrepreneurial mindset and strong commercial acumen
- Fluent in English
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office and other tools (PowerPoint / Excel / Visio / KORE asset management); CRM and database tools
- Conceptual and strategic skills Excellent communicator and listener
- Comfortable presenting to and communicating with top management and key senior stakeholders (internal and external)
- Proven ability to motivate, inspire and manage a team
- Cooperative and team player (across the organisation)
