THE POSITION
These are your key tasks:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Workforce Planning across the Women’s World Cup 2027 lifecycle, including special events for FIFA staff and freelancers
- Design, implement, and manage core Workforce processes, ensuring efficiency and adaptability
- Own and maintain the Workforce List as the single source of truth, ensuring consistent and accurate data across all functions
- Lead change management initiatives to support smooth and continuous planning
- Contribute to Workforce budget planning, calendar management, and holistic workforce strategy
- Support the development and dissemination of policies and procedures to enhance the workforce experience during tournament and event time
- Provide input into workforce-related technology and systems to improve operational performance
- Collaborate closely with functions such as accommodation, travel, and transport to prioritize Workforce needs
- Provide guidance to other Workforce team members, including interns, through regular check-ins and ongoing support
- Lead and deliver additional Workforce projects as needed

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Workforce Management, ideally within major sporting events and/or corporate environments
- Strong knowledge of event planning and project management methodologies
- Demonstrated success in leading workforce-related projects across complex organizational structures, from initial planning to operational delivery
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and activate contingency plans swiftly
- Experience in planning and managing complex budgets
- Experience managing uniform supply chains is a strong advantage
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Additional language skills (French, Spanish, Portuguese, or German) are an asset
- Experience using project management tools such as WeTrack and Monday.com
- Understanding of IT system implementations is beneficial
