About the Role

Ready to shape the future of operations? As Forecasting & Capacity Planning Manager, you’ll lead the charge in aligning resources with business strategy across all operational teams. This is your opportunity to build a centralized forecasting engine, optimize capacity, and drive smarter, faster decisions. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Management of the Forecasting & Capacity Planning and Resource Distribution teams. Ensuring alignment with Business goals and operational excellence.
  • Single view across ALL Operations - Forecasting & Capacity planning function
  • Act as the single point of contact for any activity requiring changes to operational resources
  • Own and manage the intake process for all requests into Operations, including: Service design for each product or initiative and assessment against current service design, capacity and cost
  • Provide the Operations Director and Senior Leadership team with accurate, cross Operations forecasts for all resources (Human and other) on which to base business decisions
  • Work with the Functional Leaders in Operations to collate their forecast resources, variables and plans to match demand
  • Work with all inputs to determine resource demand for Operations (Commercial, M&A, Product, etc.) to obtain forecast requirements.
  • Set up and own governance process to manage demand & supply requirements in Operations
  • Provide finance with a resource model for Operations to enable budget, forecast & LTP – including assumptions
  • Identify opportunities across all operations where resources can be used more efficiently. Review all capacity options across Operations, including Outsourcing or other solutions
  • To be aware of and record business, resource and seasonal changes, making appropriate resource plans for expected changes in profile and workloads, and reporting on expected and experienced results
  • Collaborate with Technology teams to identify and implement automation opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience with demand forecasting & capacity planning in operational environments
  • Previous management experience (preferably in international environments)
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
  • Analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to build resource models, test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success
  • Develop processes to standardise forecasting & capacity planning
  • Ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to learn and ability to work proactively
  • Flexible in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
