About the opportunity: We are looking for a Kit  Assistant to join us and play a key role within our Everton Men’s First Team.  

As Kit Assistant, you will provide all services and support within the kit and equipment operation to players and staff within the Men’s First Team. 

Some key responsibilities as part of this role will include:  

• Supporting the Kit Manager in all areas of the kit management operation; liaising with them to determine order of priorities for provisions 

• Supporting the kit dept in other areas of the club (i.e women's and academy) as required/ directed by Kit Manager 

• To organise and co-ordinate all kit and equipment as part of the programme, including all home and away games, tours, tournaments, and activities following any changes to the weekly planner 

• Ensure all kit is they are appropriately labelled and branded for each person, using a heat press to print both training and match kit 

• Assist in the management of the kit inventory system ensuring kit allocation policy is adhered to (i.e. kit requirement forecasting, order creation, delivery scheduling, kit distribution and stock management 

• The post holder will need to be able to drive a manual van to training sessions and matches 

• Managing stock and working with a stock control system 

• Complying with the requirements of the Premier League, The FA and EFL 

Who we are looking for: We are looking for an individual who is able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to build rapport and positive relationships with all levels of an organisation.  

• Previous experience within a kit management (or Similar) and matchday provision setting in elite level sports  

• Experience managing stock and working with a stock control system 

• You must have outstanding administration, organisation and planning skills with the ability to adapt quickly, be flexible in the face of change and solution orientated 

Essential Qualifications:  

• Full UK Driving Licence  

This is a physically demanding role, which involves manual handling; applicants must be able to safely perform tasks associated with the post in line with Health & Safety guidance.  

The role is permanent and will be based at Finch Farm training ground in Liverpool (Halewood); working 40 hours per week – A willingness to be flexible around working hours as and when needed is essential.
