Location – London/Dublin/Leeds
Hybrid - 2 days per week (Dublin only)

Join Flutter’s Group Finance team as a Finance Manager – Transformation and contribute to our Global Finance transformation program. We continuously strive to enhance our processes, improve efficiency, and accommodate the Group's growth. Our focus is on leveraging our IT systems and empowering our teams to deliver accurate and timely financial information to customers. As the Finance Manager – Transformation, your responsibilities will include driving special projects to improve process efficiency and automation within our team. You will collaborate with different teams and closely coordinate with Flutter’s Internal Controls team to ensure detailed documentation and implementation of changes with appropriate internal controls.
The successful candidate will collaborate with finance colleagues from our Group functions and Divisions, as well as other teams like IT, Tax, Internal Controls, and more.

What you’ll do
- Drive forward and deliver on Global Finance Transformation projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and with accuracy.
- Develop and supervise project plans, outlining schedules, breakthroughs, and attainable deliverable timeframes, ensuring you can achieve success for each project.
- Ensure accurate documentation and audit trail over deliverables.
- Collaborate with teams across the business including Group finance, Tax, Legal, IT, Internal Controls, and Divisions to deliver project plans.
- Support on special projects, such as global process design and system implementations, from a project management perspective.
How you’ll do it
- Accounting Designation with 3+ years of experience post-qualification, preferably in a big 4/large public company environment.
- Experience in consolidations, accounting, and financial reporting, and working in a SOX internal controls environment.
- An attitude geared towards process improvement with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and operationalizing process improvements and controls.
- Ability to prioritize and work with various collaborators, customers, partners, and team members while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Proactive, well-organized, and thorough, with close attention to detail.
- A skilled problem solver with the ability to establish goals and priorities.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong communication skills; ability to effectively deal with colleagues across all areas of the business.
- Adept at dealing with high volumes of data and comfortable in a highly automated environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to challenge and be challenged.
- Experience with Oracle ERP and FCCS or other similar financial systems is an advantage.
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Experience in a SOX environment is an asset.
- US GAAP knowledge is a plus but not compulsory.
