As Tax Reporting Assistant Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of a daring company that is listed on the NYSE. We are looking for a proven professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
The Tax Team are led by the Tax Director who reports directly into the group’s CFO and leads a high profile tax function based in the Flutter Group’s offices in London and Dublin. The Tax Team works closely with the business to deliver on all aspects of tax reporting.
What you’ll do
This role will be responsible for assisting the Direct Tax Reporting Team with all aspects of the Direct tax reporting for the Flutter Group. As part of your role, you will work closely with Group Finance, Group Reporting as well as Finance teams in the Group’s overseas jurisdictions.

Assistance with the delivery of global tax reporting and budgetary requirements on a timely basis

Preparation of tax calculations for external reporting and internal forecasting

Preparation of tax reporting supporting documentation and evidence for US GAAP and IFRS reporting purposes

Assisting with preparing tax journals and assisting the finance team with tax bookings

Working with divisional finance teams to ensure accurate tax reporting into Group

Proactively identifying tax risks within the group

Assistance with the preparation of advice to be shared with collaborators in the business and assisting with specific external reporting disclosure obligations (10K, 10Q and IFRS tax documentation)
How you’ll do it
-
Qualified accountant and/or Chartered Tax Advisor. Post Qualification Experience working in tax reporting would be an advantage.

Solid understanding of IFRS tax reporting. US GAAP experience would be beneficial but not required.

Ideally previous experience of Reporting software e.g. Oracle

Previous use of of tax software Oracle EPM – Tax Reporting (TRCS) (or similar tax software)

Solid understanding of financial accounting processes, policies and systems
