Fanatics Sewing University Supervisor

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide instruction and demonstration of stitching
• Use of patterns
• Basic machine maintenance
• Communicate course content with enthusiasm, clarity and patience
• Ensure safe and appropriate use of all equipment
• Maintain accurate student, instructor, course and program documentation
• Update and implement curriculum and education materials and methods used to advance learning in the class
• Staying current with developments in the fields of technology and learning theory
• Adhere to Fanatics policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

Basic Qualifications:

• Expertise in measuring
• Expertise of sewing techniques and operations
• Expertise in related safety procedures
• Demonstrated effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledgeable in training techniques and adult learning theories
• Preferred bilinguel (English/Spanish)
• Proven ability to lead students

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 20lbs
• Ability to lift and reach above shoulder height
• Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
• Must pass a pre-employment background check
• Excellent attendance
