Fanatics Collectibles Summer 2025 Pre-press Intern

Fanatics Collectibles is excited to invite talented and passionate students to join our Summer Internship Program, a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and immerse yourself in the fast-paced world of the trading card and collectibles industry. You will have the chance to work alongside industry experts and participate in real-world projects that directly impact our business, providing you with valuable work experience and leadership skills.

Please note that this internship is an on-site opportunity (5x/week in-office) in Miramar, FL.

Position Summary:

Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Pre-Press Department. This internship offers hands-on experience in the technical and creative processes behind the production of sports trading cards. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing digital files, proofing artwork, and ensuring quality control before cards are sent to print.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and formatting digital files for print production.
• Review and proofread artwork for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with brand guidelines.
• Work with designers to ensure artwork meets production specifications.
• Learn and utilize industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve file issues.
• Participate in quality control checks to maintain high standards in final printed products.
• Support various prepress tasks, including color correction and layout adjustments.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Must be graduating in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026
• Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Print Production, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Basic understanding of print production processes and color management.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Focus & Efficiency: Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
• Industry Knowledge: Passionate about staying informed on collectibles trends, the evolving hobby landscape, and company-specific processes essential to trading card development.
• Culture Champion: Demonstrates a positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to contribute to an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture.
• Driving Results: Proactive and motivated to take ownership of assigned projects, meet deadlines, and support team goals through hands-on contributions.

Summer 2025 Schedule:

• Program dates: Monday, June 2, 2025 – Friday, August 8, 2025
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32-40 hours/week (schedules may vary based on department needs and your availability)

• Must be available to work on-site 5 days in office
• Must be able to provide own housing and transportation
• Must be available for entire 10-week program from June 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025
