Please note: This is an unpaid internship. Candidates must be eligible to receive college credit as compensation for this internship. Candidates selected to move forward in the interview process will need to submit proof of eligibility to receive academic credit for their time interning with Wasserman, and will be disqualified if they are unable to do so.
Day-to-day Duties Include
- Support the Vice President, Baseball with various tasks
- Maintain research databases (Microsoft Excel and/or coding) to assist in player valuation projects
- Major League, Minor League, and NIL marketing support
- Salary arbitration research
- Recruiting deck research and maintenance
- Various administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Applicant should have a passion for learning the inner workings of a sports agency
- Degree currently in progress, preferably majoring in a sports-related field
- Experience and passion for baseball, with an understanding of league dynamics and statistics
- Applicants must be organized, self-motivated, passionate and enthusiastic.
- Applicants must possess a professional attitude while demonstrating initiative and strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and/or Adobe InDesign
- Well-developed communication, organizational and time management skills, as well as basic administrative skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Displays indications of being loyal and trustworthy with the organization and clients
- Must be able to earn college credit for an internship
- Commit to at least 20 hours per week
- This internship runs from beginning of September – December 2025.
