THE JOB / Experiential Manager (CRM, Driving Programs) (Luxury Automotive Client)

EXPERIENCES / Responsible for planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs.

***Our headquarters is in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with a priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (3 days a week in the office) in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL, Century City, CA or Atlanta, GA.***

Octagon is seeking an Experiential Manager (EM) to lead the planning and execution of nationwide driving programs, with a strong emphasis on CRM strategy, client reporting, and holistic team management. This role will serve as a central point of leadership across program delivery, ensuring seamless integration between experiential execution, data capture, and client-facing insights.

The Experiential Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day program operations while driving CRM-focused initiatives that enhance customer engagement, measurement, and reporting. This includes developing actionable insights and delivering compelling client presentations and performance updates.

In addition to CRM leadership, the EM will oversee overall team management, including personnel oversight, staffing strategy, and on-site team leadership. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with direct involvement in live event environments to ensure operational excellence and data integrity.

THE WORK YOU’LL DO

  • Oversee program planning logistics and onsite activation
  • Development of a premium, engaging, and exciting consumer experience
  • Collaborate with program partners and vendors to ensure teamwork and build coordination
  • Oversee onsite creative, exhibit services, and logistics/instructor planning and implementation
  • Manage program staff including full-time logistics staff and part-time event staff
  • Schedule, train, and manage event staff
  • Development of program guides and training materials for staff and program partners
  • Develop key client relationships and be responsible for execution upon deliverables
  • Support analysis and assessment of all program vendors
  • Serve as program lead onsite at select events
  • Other related duties as assigned

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • A passion for and expertise in sports, entertainment, gaming, music and/or automotive
  • 5+ years of agency or client service experience
  • Automotive industry and/or mobile tour experience would be a plus
  • Ability to manage relationships with multiple internal/external partners (e.g. venues, vendors, suppliers, etc.)
  • Effective leadership skills to manage and mentor full-time and limited-term program staff
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage strict timelines, work under pressure, and manage budgets through reconciliation
  • Superb communication, writing, and client service skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid US driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel: High (45%-75%)

The base range for this position is $60,000 – 65,000. Where an employee or prospective employee ispaid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background pertinent experience, and qualifications.
