Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

Event Services is the functional area, within the Organizing Committee for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games (Olympics and Paralympics), that is in charge to plan, design and provide a safe and welcoming visit to all ticketed events at the official competition venues and other services to accredited stakeholders.


The Event Services Training Manager is a dynamic and organised training lead responsible for the design, facilitation and delivery of the Event Services training programs for volunteers and paid staff engaged to deliver the front of house operations ensuring a memorable experience for all.


This role is integral to guarantee the smooth delivery of the Event Services workforce and will manage the logistical requirements and reports for training sessions. The Training Manager is a key member of the Event Services Workforce and Central Management Teams for venue support and ensuring staff readiness.


Activities:


·Monitor, manage and implement the training project plan

·Work with Event Services Venue Management team to design and develop suitable training material

·Manage training schedule, equipment and room logistics

·Manage the training invitation, acceptance and attendance tracking process

·Manage training information for printing and publication

·Ensure quality services and equipment for training delivery

·Manage resources planning

·Present training material to large audiences

·Manage attendance reports including no shows

·Assist venue teams with EVS Workforce Operations during Games-time

·Manage the EVS Training Team ensuring effective implementation of the training deliverables

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

·Needs strong attention to detail and high standards for quality output

·Ability to collaborate effectively with other Functional Areas to ensure delivery of a suitable training program

·Considers impact of decisions on Games Time workforce

·Generates ideas to improve processes and create efficiencies

·Professional manner when dealing with paid staff and volunteers

·Able to adapt style of communication and approach

·Communicates clearly and concisely

·Implement Human Resource processes, policies and procedures

At Games Time, there is the possibility of long hours of work


· University degree

·Ability to manage numerous tasks with a high level of detail at the same time

·Ability to lead a small team as well as be a team player when led by others

·Ability to work under pressure and under tight timelines

· Strong written and oral communication in english


Complete the role:


· A minimum experience of 3-4 years in training; preferably with experience in mega (sports) events

·Builds credibility, respect, and trust with others through depth of understanding and knowledge.

·Provides creative and innovative solutions.

Takes accountability and ownership of tasks and problems.

·Knowledge and Experience of Olympic Games Event Services operations and goals

·Training Manager on similar scope events

Leader of both paid staff and volunteers
