Engineer III Software

As a Software Engineer III, you will configure, develop, test, and deploy scalable warehouse management systems for Fanatics’ fulfillment & wholesale network. You will focus on warehouse and inventory management, warehouse execution workflows, fulfillment orchestration, and material flow automation, while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement & configure high-performance, real-time software for warehouse management, execution and control.
• Manage and configure Fulfillment Flows within Warehouse Management System
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of Inventory Flow & management issues.
• Develop and enhance orchestration solutions for fulfillment workflows and material handling.
• Improve and maintain event-driven architectures, microservices, and APIs for seamless warehouse execution.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product teams to optimize warehouse processes.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing warehouse management & execution software.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3-6 years of software development experience, preferably in Supply Chain, Fulfillment, or Warehouse Execution Systems.
• 3-6 years of strong Tier 1 WMS Experience like Manhattan Active with expertise in ProActive
• Experience in Manhattan Open Systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in advanced programming languages like C++, C#, Java, GoLang, or similar languages for scalable RESTful services & APIs.
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres, Oracle, MS-Sql Server etc.), data modeling, and efficient query design
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures, microservices, and API design.
• Experience with Temporal (or similar Workflow/Orchestration systems) is a plus.
• Experience in an Omnichannel Fulfillment environment is a plus
• Experience working with warehouse automation, WES, WCS, or WMS integrations is a plus.
