Full Description
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- Lead the process for brand driven / cross functional projects.
- Lead the business review process for sustainable brand growth, with quantitative data and qualitative insights.
- Lead the range process through Range Architecture role to review and validate range size, profitability, pricing and all merchandizing related KPIs.
- Lead and manage range master data to ensure data quality and facilitate various analysis & reporting.
- Planning & Insights
- Lead the process for brand driven projects to be completed successfully with sharing data, assumption and direction.
- Work with Business Units, Assortment Planning, Channels, Brand Activation, Supply Chain, Finance teams to drive seasonal strategies and priorities and drive operational excellence while validating.
- Manage selected brand projects or priorities.
- Build and optimize tools and reports to analyze the business, and provide insights to key stakeholders.
- Gather market & consumer insights from various sources, and summarize into actionable input for other teams in Brand and Channels to implement.
- Master Data Management
- Lead the ranging process, ensure master data are created & maintained following Go-To-Market timeline.
- Lead the data cleansing, to ensure all master data are consistent for analysis purpose.
- Supervise market related master data management like Customer Range Segmentation, Japan Sizing
- Lead smooth master transition across systems.
- Lead system enhancement and user-acceptance-testing co-work with IT.
- Range Architecture
- Build Japan Range Architecture as guidance for Business Units teams' range creation, including but not limited to: Article / Model count, product type, pricing, cost, launch month curve, campaign focus products, etc.
- Create Option Plan for Channels as the guidance for Assortment Planning.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- At least 8 years in sporting goods or related industry
- Strong data analysis skill
- Strong process management skill
- Leadership
- Communication / Negotiation
- Market / Financial knowledge
Requisite Education / Qualifications:
- University Degree (BS, BA, or equivalent)
- Advanced PC Skill (MS Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Power BI)
- Fluent in English, Fluent in Japanese (Preferable)
