Data Engineering (architect)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: The design and communication of high-level structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs. In addition to technology components, solution architecture encompasses changes to service, process, organization, and operating models. The provision of comprehensive guidance on the development of, and modifications to, solution components to ensure that they take account of relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards and practices (including security) and that existing and planned solution components remain compatible.

• Being a technical partner and strategic advisor in the space of data architecture, advanced data management and analytics;
• Working in the latest data technologies and using Databricks to work in a Lakehouse concept (in Delta Lake format);

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

• A great communicator who can pass on knowledge to a wider team and who likes being exposed to the entire org;
• At least 4 years of experience in Data Engineering, DevOps, Data Science MLOps or Machine Learning;
• Knowledge of Python, SQL and databases;
• 2 years of experience with ETL processes;
• Customer/Product focused DevOps mindset and hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows;
• Experienced in software engineering best practices (design patterns, test-driven development and clean code).
