The Role:

As Copywriter for the French market, you’ll own customer-facing copy across acquisition, engagement, and retention touchpoints. Reporting to the local Creative Director within DAZN Creative (EMEA), you’ll play a key role in shaping and evolving DAZN’s tone of voice in France. Your primary focus will be marketing and CRM communications across the funnel, ensuring every message informs, excites, and converts. You’ll also contribute to wider campaign copy across media, product, partnerships, and brand initiatives. This role requires a native French writer with strong commercial instinct, attention to detail, and the ability to balance local nuance with global brand consistency.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Owning copy creation for core customer-facing communications across digital acquisition journeys
  • Writing CRM communications including email, push notifications, onboarding, and event promotion
  • Developing promotional messaging for acquisition, retention, and upsell campaigns
  • Evolving and scaling DAZN’s tone of voice in the French market
  • Contributing copy to integrated campaigns across digital, print, OOH, radio, and TV
  • Writing on-product promotional copy, partnership assets, and app store descriptions
  • Supporting marketing claims, CTA development, and product feature naming
  • Acting as a copy consultant within the French market to ensure brand consistency

What You’ll Bring:

  • Native-level French with business-level English
  • Proven experience writing engaging, commercially effective marketing copy
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to self-edit to a high standard
  • Understanding of brand tone of voice principles and how to apply them locally
  • A passion for sport, particularly Ligue 1 and European football
