Description
OPERATIONS CONTENT MANAGER

ROLE PURPOSE.


You will lead the Operations Content Management team working in the wider Production Services function. You will be responsible for the planning, implementation, transitioning and content management of non-live content within that area.

Working closely with multiple teams in supporting the end-to-end non live content process, from concept and planning, through to delivery and archive.

Being a key liaison with our Contents teams you will ensure that new briefs and deals are fully understood. You will work with Operational teams to ensure these are feasible and delivered to deadline, always communicating back to stakeholders.

You will have a good commercial awareness and link this into everyday decision making whether this for new acquisition or distribution opportunities, as well as the bau responsibilities.

You will understand the use of the Operational services, and content plans and policies, to seek out opportunities and efficiencies. The drive being focused on DAZNs continued growth as a business and delivering the best possible output for its customer.

Key Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Working closely with Content teams to translate, advise, and guide on the correct management of content plans from delivery to distribution to archive.
  • Collaborate with wider teams to implement and govern the operating processes, ensuring best practices of content and storage are followed by end users.
  • Be part operational planning from beginning of new commercial content opportunities to onboarding non live content
  • Forecast and briefing new requirements to Operational and Technology teams.
  • Deal with any issues that arise in a timely and efficient manner whilst communicating well with stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Managing and scheduling weekly archive requirements.
  • Monitory and performing QC checks on deliveries to archive storage.
  • Report on KPIs and identifying opportunities within them.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working as a client facing Content Manager in a broadcast environment working across acquisition, distribution and archiving of content.
  • Proficient in working across content management and storage systems and how they integrate with other business systems.
  • Ability to translate multiple requirements for content and media management and plan these to the point delivery.
  • Comfortable in engaging varying stakeholders, setting meeting agendas and leading these.
  • Collating data to report on, providing narratives and recommendations for improvement.
  • Understanding of technical workflow and tools with content and media management, and how they are resourced and planned.
  • Driving efficiencies in streamlining workflows and providing technical teams with clear requirements.
