About UCI
Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) has been EDGE ‘Move’ certified since January. EDGE certification is the international reference standard for organisations in terms of gender equity. The UCI is the first international sports federation to be EDGE ‘Move’ certified.

Founded on 14th April 1900 in Paris, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is the world governing body for cycling. Its mission is to develop and supervise cycling in all its forms and for everybody, as a competitive sport, as a healthy recreational activity and as a means of transport and having fun. Additionally, the UCI promotes a number of its own events, including the UCI Road World Championships, an iconic annual event, and a wide range of other UCI World Championships and World Cups across the various disciplines. It is based in Aigle, Switzerland, at the UCI World Cycling Centre.

For its Marketing, Communications, Medias and CSR Department, the UCI is looking for a:

Mission

As a Communications Intern, you will assist the Media Relations Unit within the UCI Marketing, Communications, Medias and CSR Department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Media Relations & Operations
    • Compile press clippings for daily press report
    • Ensure press monitoring
    • Assist the communications team with media operations (press conferences, interviews, creation of media materials…)
    • Assist with media accreditations
    • Assist in creating and distributing press releases
    • Assist in administrative duties
    • Build and update media lists and databases
    • Schedule, coordinate and attend various events
    • Perform research and market analysis activities
  • Editorial
    • Create and curate engaging content
    • Proofread and edit content in both English and French (letters, articles, press releases, newsletters)
    • Assist the communications team with content development
    • Review website content (articles, communications, informative texts)

Profile:

  • Student in Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Fluent in English/French (spoken and written)
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to share information effectively
  • Knowledge of sports and a high interest for cycling
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and a team player with strong interpersonal skills, especially in a multicultural environment
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Comfortable using social media channels

Duration: minimum 9 months
Start date: January 2026 or to be discussed
