Road Coordinator (100%)

Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) has been EDGE ‘Move’ certified since January. EDGE certification is the international reference standard for organisations in terms of gender equity. The UCI is the first international sports federation to be EDGE ‘Move’ certified.

Founded on 14th April 1900 in Paris, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is the world governing body for cycling. Its mission is to develop and supervise cycling in all its forms and for everybody, as a competitive sport, as a healthy recreational activity and as a means of transport and having fun. Additionally, the UCI promotes a number of its own events, including the UCI Road World Championships, an iconic annual event, and a wide range of other UCI World Championships and World Cups across the various disciplines. It is based in Aigle, Switzerland, at the UCI World Cycling Centre.

For its Sports Department, the UCI is looking for a:

Road Coordinator (100%)
English - French Mission:

As Road Coordinator, you hold a key position within the Road Unit of the Sports Department. Reporting directly to the Road Manager – Riders & Teams, you are responsible for providing essential administrative support, with a particular focus on the management of UCI Road Teams. In addition, an important part of your responsibilities will include the preparation and drafting of regulations, carried out in close collaboration with the Road Manager – Riders & Teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Road Manager – Riders & Teams in the day-to-day activities of the Road Sector, as well as in monitoring and managing related projects
  • Contribute to the drafting of regulatory changes, ensure their publication, and oversee follow-up in collaboration with the Road Manager – Riders & Teams
  • Handle part of the administrative follow-up for the Road Sector
  • Prepare documents for the Management Committee, various Commissions, and working groups
  • Conduct preliminary reviews of contracts and other legal documents
  • Organize seminars and meetings, and draft minutes
  • Contribute to the registration and administrative monitoring of teams
  • Prepare and compile statistics.

Profile:

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in law, or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an international French-English environment
  • Excellent command of both English (ideally native) and French, with strong written communication skills in both languages
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Knowledge of Monday.com and/or the SWIFT banking guarantee system is a plus
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Rigorous, motivated, and ethical
  • Able to work independently while maintaining a strong team spirit
  • Strong interest in sports, particularly cycling
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to events.
