Vacancy: Academy Transport Co-ordinator
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
We currently have an opportunity for an Academy Transport Co-ordinator to join our Academy Operations Department based at our training ground at Thorp Arch, Wetherby. This new role has been created to support our Academy Operations department with an increased workload.
The Transport Co-Ordinator will be responsible for the co-ordination and management of transport requirements across the Academy full-time and hybrid training model.
This role is full time and may include evening & weekends and the candidate must be flexible and adaptable to differing seasonal work patterns to meet the required transport demands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Co-ordinate transport schedules for full-time and day release players across the season and any ad-hoc transport requirements
Communicate transport schedules to relevant stakeholders and maintain accurate driving records
Manage the Academy vehicle fleet keeping records of mileage, logbooks, maintenance and repairs
Ensure vehicle compliance is met and work collaboratively with the Junior Football Administrator at Elland Road to maintain insurance records
Support Academy Operations Manager with the organisation of transport and logistics for the Academy Senior games programme.
Assist in the planning of the Academy schedule and ensure the effective communication to relevant stakeholders.
Act as an assisting point of contact for leagues, associations, and all other relevant external stakeholders on matters relating to the Senior games programme.
Act as a superuser for the Club’s communication and scheduling platform – Teamworks and Intelligence Platform of contact for Academy Parents on matters relating to scheduling, transport and the Senior games programme.
Assist the Academy Management Team and wider Academy with individual travel needs
Carry out any further administrative supportive duties as required by the Academy Manager and Operations team.
QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING:
Already hold or be able to acquire a FA enhanced DBS certificate.
Already hold or be able to acquire a FA Safeguarding certificate.
Driving license is essential

Academy Secretary
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
We currently have an opportunity for an Academy Secretary to join our Academy Operations Department based at our training ground at Thorp Arch, Wetherby. The Academy Secretary will be responsible for the management of Player Registrations across U09-16. They will assist the Academy Operations & Admin Manager in all administrative matters relating to the Academy and provide administrative assistance to the Academy Management Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrate the player registration processes and the relevant submissions to the League for:
Academy player registrations
Trialist registrations
Manage player on-boarding to ensure accurate player data and record keeping
Attend, and take minutes, all weekly operational meeting across the Academy.
Ensure all Academy players and trialists have a valid PRS card and assist in the uploading of digital cards to Teamworks
Support with the FA attendance of minors across all trainings, from development centres to Academy.
Assist with the booking of travel and accommodation for players and staff as required.
Support the department with the co-ordinate international player call ups and itineraries and make sure relevant stakeholders are aware of whereabouts
Administrate Match Officials payments and support the department with petty cash needs.
Act as point of contact for Scout requests.
Manage the Academy complimentary ticket allocation for First Team and Under 21 fixtures at Elland Road and alternative venues.
Supporting the administrative aspects of our Recruitment team and recruitment strategy.
Carry out any further administrative supportive duties as required by the Academy Manager and Operations team.

Academy Kit Assistant – 6 Month contract
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
The Kit Assistant will assist the First Team and Academy Kit Coordinator in the management of kit and equipment throughout the Academy on a 6 month contract. This will include matchday support for the first team and academy teams, at home and away venues as and when required.
Hours of Work: 37.5 hour per week
Department Academy
Location: Training Ground (Wetherby)
Responsible to: Kit Co-Ordinator/Academy Operations and Administration Manager
Responsible for: First Team & Academy Kit co-ordination & distribution
DBS: Enhance DBS required
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily provision and preparation of kit and equipment for training.
Driving the kit van to and from home and away fixtures which, on occasion will include staying overnight with the team.
Dressing room pre-match set up and post-match clear down.
Supporting the match day operation as directed by the Academy Kit Coordinator.
Supporting the busy pre-season arrival and preparation of kit so that it is available in a timely fashion as required by coaches and playing staff.
Accompanying the team on tour as and when required. This may involve short periods of international travel.
Printing logos on match kit and training wear.
Control and management of kit stock and kit room including maintaining a clean and tidy working environment.
Be trustworthy and adhere to the Club/Academy protocols and respect confidentiality in all matters.
Other Responsibilities:

Casual Matchday Hospitality and Kiosk Roles
Matchday Hospitality Waiting staff
Role: Match day hospitality waiting staff are required to work all home fixtures with the option of non-match day work
Age Requirements: 16 +
Experience required: Previous waiting experience and/or silver service skills is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
Waiting staff work in the hospitality areas on match fixtures serving Match day corporate guests food.
Hospitality staffs need to be able to work well under pressure, have strong communication skills and an extremely smart appearance.
Matchday Hospitality Bar staff
Role: Match day hospitality bar staff are required to work all home fixtures with the option of non-match day work
Age Requirements: 18 +
Experience required: Previous bar experience essential.
Bar staff work in the hospitality areas on match fixtures taking orders and serving Match Day hospitality guests drinks (alcoholic/ non-alcoholic). This role can include the exchange of monies and till usage.
Hospitality staff need to be able to work well under pressure, have strong communication skills and an extremely smart appearance.
Matchday Kiosk Staff
Role: Match day Ground Catering staff are required to work all home fixtures within the stadium on a Match Day.
Age requirements: 16+ (limited areas for under 18’s)
Experience required: Some experience desirable (Training will be given)
Match day Ground Catering staff work in the kiosks and bar outlets, where alcohol is present, and you will be situated around the stadium serving Match Day General ticket holders. Ground Catering staff need to be able to work well under pressure, have a good team working skills and a good attitude. The Uniform for Ground Catering Staff is more informal (Leeds United t-shirt and fleece which is provided on your first shift)
Matchday Kiosk Team Leader
Role: Match day Ground Catering Team leaders are required to work all home fixtures (longer shift than standard Ground Catering staff).
Age requirements: 18+
Experience Requirement: Previous bar supervisory skills are required alongside a good knowledge of cellar and staff management (please note Ground Catering team leaders are paid an enhanced rate of pay for the increased responsibility)
Matchday Kitchen Porter
Role: Match day kitchen porters are required to work all home fixtures in the kitchens. Limited Non Match day work is available.
Age requirements: 16 +
Some experience in previous kitchen work.
Full Training will be given.
All Kitchen staff need to be able to work well under pressure, have a good team working skills and a good attitude.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The role involves working all home fixtures, with the chance to pick up additional non-match day events. This person will look to manage the catering staff to deliver top quality service to all customers, motivated and productive ensuring key targets are met.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
To be responsible for the set up and general operations, ensuring service standards are met, and rooms are set up as prescribed for matchdays and events.
Ensure all signage is correct and maintaining good standards of hygiene.
To be responsible for cleanliness and hygiene of all bars and food service areas, at the end of shift.
To manage and control all events. Always ensuring complete customer satisfaction
To ensure that the highest standard applies to all areas on match days and that company health and safety policies are adhered to.
Be aware of stock levels and carry out stock rotation where applicable and to keep stock in line with the business demands, do not over stock.
To control wastage.
To ensure the control of all equipment, ensuring that breakages are kept to a minimum and that misuse of establishment property does not occur.
To ensure that all members of staff are trained to a level, which enables them to carry out their duties according to company standards.
To ensure that all staff and casual staff always adhere to departmental standard of dress and personal hygiene.
To inform the Operations Management team of any disciplinary matters regarding employees or problems with the day’s event.
To ensure all till readings are completed correctly at the end of each day.
To assist with paperwork and to be fully conversant with all paperwork involved in running the site efficiently and to ensure the correct paperwork is completed for due diligence.
To attend training sessions as required.
To comply with any other reasonable request made by Senior Management
To analyse match day procedures and improve customer experience, representing the company professionally at the highest level

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Leeds United Football Club are now seeking experienced and motivated chefs to work home fixtures for the upcoming 2025/2026 football season. As a Chef, you will be contributing to the efficient running of one of our many kitchens and food offerings.
