Full Description
We're looking for a Cargo Administrator to support our Cargo team with administrative duties relating to the movement of F1, F2, F3 and F1 Academy freight. The ideal candidate lives within a commutable distance of Biggin Hill and can commute into the office on a regular basis.
Reporting into the Cargo Administration Manager, you will:
- Be available to travel worldwide for a maximum of 16 weeks per year. Please note travel will be primarily to intercontinental events and not European events.
- Carry out administrative duties which include preparing and submitting import and export customs documentation/paperwork for all stakeholders.
- Assist department with financial support such as raising purchase orders, managing the post-race billing and accounts, following up on the status of approvals, coding and sending invoices for payment to our internal finance team and updating finance spreadsheets.
- Prepare and submit travel associated paperwork for members of staff travelling as cargo attendants on board the chartered cargo planes. Also to assist with the wider teams travel associated paperwork.
- Undertake general administrative duties such as data and file management, being proactive by ensuring tasks have been completed in good time prior to the race event deadline; this includes maintaining and updating various spreadsheets and files.
- The ability to build and develop relationships with all stakeholders.
Specification Essentials:
- Office administration experience within a collaborative and challenging environment, preferably within Logistics but not essential.
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Excellent administration skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Proven organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines whilst working on own initiative
- Highly experienced with MS Office
- Ability to work under pressure and in periods of downtime.
- Worldwide travel for extended periods, at times on own.
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings when attending events.
- Clean DBS
- Full Driving licence, with International overseas driving experience.
