Job Title – Business Controls Transformation Manager
Location – London/Dublin
Hybrid - 2 days per week (Dublin only)

At Flutter we are embarking on an ambitious global finance transformation programme over the next three years. The Business Controls Transformation Manager will be responsible for supporting the delivery of elements of the ICFR pillar of the global finance transformation programme, as well as supporting the other finance transformation pillars (e.g. finance ERP implementation) by providing ICFR input and insight. The Business Controls Transformation Manager will report to a Business Controls Transformation Senior Manager.

What you’ll do
- Lead the daily delivery of short-term and long-term transformation elements of the ICFR project plan, focusing on either group-level business controls or transactional process controls within divisions.
- Manage internal and external support to ensure project elements are delivered within planned costs and timetables.
- Contribute to regular project management reporting to senior leaders, highlighting potential challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities within the ICFR project plan, including process changes and automation.
- Collaborate with IT Controls Transformation peers and internal control teams to ensure seamless delivery of ICFR project elements.
- Prepare briefing documents for external auditors as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with key internal collaborators, including Divisional CFOs and CIOs, to address concerns and deliver necessary transformations.
- If necessary, prepare briefing documents for the Group’s external auditors on the elements of the ICFR project plan that you are supporting the delivery of.
How you’ll do it
- Good project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple workstreams and meeting both short-term and long-term deadlines.
- Strong management skills for directing the day-to-day activities of internal and external support teams.
- Outstanding communication skills to articulate work status and potential risks clearly.
- Extensive ICFR knowledge, covering both group-level and transactional business processes.
- Familiarity with bringing to bear IT contributions to ICFR, including IT general and automated controls.
- Able to operate in a fast-paced environment and successfully implement change.
- Qualified accountant with PCAOB audit experience and/or experience in an business internal controls professional services or industry role
- Experience of auditing ICFR, or supporting the delivery of ICFR activities day-to-day
- Experience of US GAAP is advantageous, but not essential.
- Experience of betting, gaming or online entertainment businesses is advantageous, but not essential.
