The Bedfordshire Football Association (Beds FA) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Centre Manager to lead the operations and development of Creasey Park Football Centre in Dunstable.



About the Role

The Centre Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of Creasey Park, ensuring the centre continues to deliver a safe, inclusive, and high-quality experience for all users.

Working closely with the Beds FA's central team, the successful candidate will:
• Oversee the operational management of the centre, ensuring it runs smoothly, safely, and in line with FA standards.
• Build strong relationships with local clubs, community partners, and stakeholders.
• Support the delivery of football activities and events across the site.
• Drive continuous improvement by enhancing customer service, increasing participation, and identifying commercial opportunities.
• Lead the casual staff team to maintain high standards of professionalism and customer care.


This is a hands-on role that requires excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills, as well as a flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends on a rota basis.


We're looking for someone who:
• Has experience managing facilities, staff, or volunteers in a sport, leisure, or community setting.
• Understands safeguarding, health and safety, and customer service excellence.
• Is confident using digital systems and has strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Is passionate about football and committed to supporting community sport in Bedfordshire.

Desirable qualifications include a background in facility management, sports administration, or customer service, along with an understanding of football matchday operations. Additionally, the candidate should hold FA Safeguarding and First Aid certificates (training can be provided if required).
