Purpose of Role
- Purpose of position is mainly to coordinate customs related operations and China daily inbound process based on UA business requirements, while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations locally. This role will be closely working with 3PLs and broker in a daily basis, providing adequate information and visibilities among all relevant parties.
Your Impact
- Daily inbound process monitoring and coordinating.
- Duty payment application and billing reconciliation.
- Weekly intake forecast review and update.
- Balancing intake flow to drive for efficient utilization of DH capacity, especially during the peak season.
- Monitoring inbound data and reports, driving intake efficiency and accuracy.
- Support export process based on UA business requirements while compliance risks are fully under control.
- Business documents support, including but not limited to customs book reconciliation for factory or cooperate hub, local AIC inspection, etc., so to minimize the financial exposure & risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1-3 years of trade compliance/ logistics experience in consumer goods or professional service firm.
- Basic knowledge of HTS code classification, customs declaration and inspection process.
- Knowledge/ experience on duty reduction and trade preference.
- Proactive, well-organized, and self-motivated.
- Efficient communication with individuals at all levels of the organization – internal and external.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills in both mandarin and English.
