The Area Lead (East) is responsible for supporting multiple retail Store Leaders across North America in guiding operations and performance. Through authentic connection, you will be the one to provide strategic direction, support building brand awareness and drive business growth and profitability in alignment with On’s mission to ignite the human spirit through movement. Through your strong inspirational leadership and guidance of Store Leaders, you foster a high-performance culture and promote employee engagement while developing a strong pipeline of talent to fuel our growth.

Your Mission

  • You will develop and own responsibility for the business & people strategies for your region, in steady state and 1 year out.
  • Set performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each location and monitor progress towards goals.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple locations within the region, ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage the regional budget, forecasting revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Analyze financial reports, identify trends, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs in collaboration with Store Leaders.
  • Enable Store Leaders to drive store operations in line with local and global priorities by providing them with the information, tools, resources, and support they need..
  • You will recruit, identify and nurture high-potential employees, preparing them for their future growth and leadership roles.
  • Support learning and development consistently and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to enhance individual and team performance.

Your story

  • 5+ years experience in a similar leadership role, with at least 2 year experience in multi-retail store management
  • You have experience managing the regional budget, forecasting revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements

Travel Requirement: This position requires approximately 30% of travel time across the East Territory. The ability to travel independently and on a regular basis is essential.

Bring any questions you have about the job, the team or anything else you might like to know – this is an open forum.

  • Step Four

    The Case Study

    What's your style? This task will help us understand how you think, face a challenge and give insight into your novel ideas. Designed to give everyone their best shot, your case study is based on something you might typically experience on the job. This is your chance to show us what you’ve got. So express yourself. Be you.

  • Step Five

    The Experience Day

    Your first taste of the Oniverse. This is a time to meet some of the people you'll be working closest with. In person or virtually, you'll get a feel for the day-to-day at On and the people who make it happen. You'll chat with a few potential teammates - the conversations will be as equally driven by the role and your experience as by our values. We believe how you do things is just as important as what you do.

  • Step Six

    The Result

    Are we a good fit? We’ll get together internally to share our feedback and decide if we’re a match. We know that job searching is a big time investment, so it’s not a decision we take lightly.
