WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Finance Analyst will be joining the Planning team within the Nike Pacific Finance team. The Planning team is responsible for the short and long-term planning of the Pacific P&L. This role will report to the Business Planning Director and work closely with the Nike Marketplace team which encompasses Nike Marketplace Partners (NMP) and Nike Store Partners (NSP); Nike Digital Dot Com (NDDC); Nike Direct Stores and cross functional partners to drive delivery of the annual P&L targets through effective performance management.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Nike Finance Analyst to assist the Finance Business Planning team with the planning and budgeting of NMP and NSP Revenue, business overheads and marketing expenditure.
- Have a degree qualified and a member of an approved accounting body preferred (CPA, CA or relevant business qualification).
- Proven analytical and business partnering skills.
- Experience in Financial Planning and Analytics preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated team player.
- Evidence of flexibility/tolerance for ambiguity.
- Exceptional ability to interpret & communicate financial data using strong written, verbal and influencing skills.
- SAP experience beneficial, however it is your strong communication skills and attention to detail that will see you a step ahead of the rest.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As the Nike Finance Analyst, you will assist the Nike Finance Leads in the preparation of current year financial forecasts, and next year rolling forecasts every month while identifying risks and opportunities to those plans.
- Be part of the Pacific Finance team which consists of the Finance Planning team and the Finance Control team.
- Critical to this role is the active performance management of the current fiscal year full P&L as well as involvement in the longer-range planning through the Corporate Strategic Review (CSR), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Fleet Review and Budgeting processes.
- Work collaboratively with the Finance Planning team including the Nike Direct Stores Senior Analyst and the Nike Direct Dot Com Lead, as well as the Finance Planning Analyst.
- As well as the NMP, NSP, NDDC and Nike Direct teams, you will have multiple cross functional partners across the business including Planning, Marketplace Supply Chain (MSC), Marketing and Cost Centre Managers.
- An ongoing priority is the continuous improvement of business planning, reporting and analysis.
