The Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games will be hosted in Los Angeles, California in 2028, returning to the United States for the first time in over 30 years. 2028 will be the first time LA hosts the Paralympic Games, creating an opportunity to expand awareness, understanding and inclusion of people with disabilities.

The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.

Accounts Payable Supervisor
Summary
The Supervisor, Accounts Payable will play a key role in the daily execution of LA28's Procure to Pay cycle.
Reporting to the Manager, Accounts Payable, the Supervisor will work closely with the Procurement Buying Desk and the Sourcing function to ensure that vendors are onboarded and that vendor payments are approved and processed smoothly. The Supervisor, Accounts Payable, will assist with invoice processing, expense reports, and cross department collaboration while ensuring compliance with policy and providing support and training for employees across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate supplier onboarding through LA28's supplier portal in collaboration with the Procurement Buying Desk
- Ensure Accounts Payable invoices are properly ingested, reviewed, coded and approved, and set up for payment
- Respond to inquiries made to the Accounts Payable email address
- Review invoice aging reports and resolve issues preventing timely payments by collaborating with internal stakeholders
- Serve as internal point of contact for purchase requisitions, ensure compliance with policies and work with the Procurement Buying Desk to issue purchase orders
- Reconcile and process expense report transactions for company Purchase Card (PCARD) accounts
- Assist with creation of payment runs
- Ensure compliance with various internal controls
- Assist with internal / external audit requests
- Other ad hoc requests and projects as needed
Background and Requirements
- 5+ years of accounts payable and accounting experience
- Experience working with Accounts Payable in an ERP environment
- Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability at problem-solving
- Ability to work independently to resolve issues
- Well-developed communication skills, interpersonal skills, both oral and written
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- On-site, hybrid (4 days a week) to start.
- Must be able to relocate to the Los Angeles, California area.
- Sitting/Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a desk or computer.
- Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in typing and using office equipment, including computers, printers, and phones.

Education / Training / Certifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
The annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 to 90,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
